Sodexo is hiring a **Food Service Manager 3 **for the **K-12 segment based in the Houston, TX** area. The Food Service Manager will work with their team to implement and maintain Sodexo programs/systems/procedures. This is a key leadership role in establishing and maintaining an exceptionally high level of food service operational standards. Working for Sodexo will provide you with the opportunity to contribute your skills to a company that strives to enhance the learning environment for students. **_Valid Driver’s License Required._**
- have oversight of day-to-day operations;
- ensure Sodexo and National School Lunch (NSLP)/USDA standards are met;
- deliver high quality food service;
- provide employee training and development;
- develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
- assist in the development and implementation of strategic/marketing plans; and
- create a positive working environment.
- have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
- has previous experience working within a K-12 environment;
- have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
- can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
- prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/or

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
