As a **Head of Global Quality Operations**, you are unafraid of navigating through necessary internal processes to facilitate a product you deeply believe in. **What you'll be doing**:
- As a member of the Global Quality leadership team, will participate in the development and execution of Baxter’s Global Quality strategy.
- In partnership with Procurement, oversees the Supplier Quality team to develop a strong supply base that delivers best in class quality from Baxter suppliers.
- In partnership with External Contract Manufacturing (ECM) Operations set direction for global processes and alignment of ECM across business segments.
- Owns, manages, and provides strategic direction on all the activities of the Post Market Complaints and processes with responsibility for compliance and engaging with global health authorities.
- Oversee quality operations across all global Service centers and Field Satellite, Rental and Administration locations globally.
- Develop a strategic plan to enhance Laboratory Excellence across the Baxter network it standardizes practices, foundational systems and enhance operational efficiencies. Manage global stability laboratories and particulate laboratories.
- Serve as Global Quality liaison to Country Quality to assure strong connection to the quality leaders in the country offices in the regions.
- Manages overall coaching, training, development, and succession plans for the team.
**What you'll bring**:
- BS in science or engineering, advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Quality, Operations, Manufacturing, R&D or related field in the medical products or pharma industries.
- 10 years of management experience with demonstrated track record of employee promotion and development and managing teams internationally
- Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change, influence, collaborate and negotiate with executive stakeholders. Proven ability to exercise good judgment and pragmatic decision-making.
- Effective at a global level and in a highly matrixed environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
- Experience leading a large organization and strong ability to motivate and lead a diverse team with varying levels of experience while also collaborating with colleagues across the globe
