The Upward Bound School Inc. is a certified 501(c)3 Educational Non Profit Organization that operates a Non Public Schools that partners with Local Education Agencies (School Districts) in order to offer a special education school setting.

**Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to**:
1. Collaborate with student(s), teacher(s), behavior analysts and other professionals to create personalized behavior intervention plans aimed at reducing problem behaviors and promoting positive behaviors.
2. Providing intervention strategies, supports and services in a classroom environment. Providing one-on-one support and supervision to individuals with behavioral challenges. Managing and de-escalating crisis situations when challenging behaviors arise, ensuring the safety of the individual and those around them.
3. Keep and maintain thorough, accurate records and documents for each session.
4. Collecting data on the individual's behavior to track progress and assess the effectiveness of interventions.
5. Being able to give input in a concise and timely manner
6. Having excellent organizational skills
7. Submit hours serviced for each student the same day
8. Communicate with IEP team frequently
9. Provide input on present levels of performance for IEPs

**Required Qualifications**:
1. Current BA or BS required in an education or a related field.
2. Current TB test within the last 60 days
3. Current Proof of COVID Vaccine
4. Will need a clear background check/livescan with the DOJ and FBI
5. Automobile Liability Insurance
6. Reliable transportation
7. California Driver's License
8. at least 2 years of experience providing instructional aide or behavior support services (preferred)

You will be working at our location at 5600 Crescent Ave. Buena Park, CA.

**Job Type**: Full-time
**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour starting pay
