First Federal Savings Bank has a great opportunity for a training coordinator This is a great position for someone with banking and/or training experience

**Job Summary**:Coordinates training for various areas of the bank. Provides initial and on-going Teller-specific training ensuring Tellers are fluent in all Bank specific programs and processes are consistent throughout the entire Bank network. Trains Head Teller, Customer Service Representatives, and other positions as needed. The training coordinator is also responsible for tracking and enrolling employees in external training programs to ensure that group discounts are being realized where possible.

**Reports to**: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

**Supervisory Responsibilities**: None.

**Responsibilities**:
**Trains new Tellers on all aspects of the Teller position - bank policy, procedures, etc.**

**May accompany the new Teller to the branch for further training at their designated branch.**

**May train new Head Tellers on various aspects of that position.**

**Ensures all Tellers and Head Tellers are trained on policy or procedure changes.**

**May train existing Tellers on an individual basis in areas where improvement is required.**

**Attends on-going education in order to stay current with industry changes and brings that training back to the branches.**

**Coordinates/schedules training for Payments, New Accounts, etc.**

**May conduct Payments training.**

**Works closely with the COO to ensure compliance with company requirements and on-going training requirements.**

**Works closely with the COO, Branch Managers and Human Resources to monitor teller issues to identify gaps in skills and competencies, thus identifying training needs.**

**Serves as a resource to Tellers, answering questions, as needed, on procedures and policies.**

**May serve as a backup for Tellers throughout the branch network, as needed.**

**Trains all Tellers in BSA, ensuring complete competency.**

**Coordinates teller training to open new accounts and the maintenance of existing customer accounts.**

**Coordinates teller training on small lending procedures/documents to ensure a transition to a Universal Teller role.**

**Works closely with the COO and Branch Managers to develop and maintain procedure manuals for the Teller role.**

**Tracks and enrolls employees in external training programs to ensure group discounts are being fully utilized.**

**Tracks completion of annual training for all employees.**

**Effectively adheres to BSA policies and procedures.**

**Requirements**:
**High school diploma or equivalent experience**

**Experience with instructing or training adults, preferred**

**Experience developing training programs a plus**

**Banking experience as a teller or head teller is preferred**

**Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.**

**Comfortable presenting information to groups of managers, employees, customers, and the general public.**

**Excellent interpersonal skills.**

**Strong knowledge of the supported business area(s).**

**Strong time management is a must**

**Excellent problem-solving skills.**

**Ability to work well in a team environment.**

**Ability to follow company policies, guidelines, and procedures.**

**Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.**
