Dog Daycare Attendant

**PART TIME MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS**

**3-4 Days a week**

**2 Overnight Shifts 12am to 8am**

**2 Evening Shifts 5pm to 12am**

**Part-time Employee Benefits Include**:

- Free daycare for your dog as long as he/she is friendly and passes a temperament test

**Required Qualifications**:

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to life 50 lbs
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personality types
- Experience working or volunteering in either kennel, shelter, rescue or veterinary facility is preferred

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide care for dogs and puppies for up to 8 hours a day.
- Know how to feed and walk dogs, play with them, and clean up after them.
- Have a general knowledge of dog breeds; have substantial knowledge of dog behavior; have substantial knowledge of dog nutrition; have substantial knowledge of canines in general.
- Cleaning the facility
- Feeding all of the dogs and making sure they have their medications
- Writing notes about who checks in and out
- Being a team player

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
