Job Overview:

This role requires strong knowledge of payroll processes, accounting principles, and proficiency in various software systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process payroll for employees using our payroll software
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes
- Review and verify timesheets and attendance records
- Address any payroll-related inquiries or discrepancies from employees
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits
- Maintain accurate employee records and update changes in employment status
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and deductions
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data in the payroll system
- Prepare reports on payroll expenses, taxes, and deductions as needed
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and compliance requirements

**Skills**:

- Proficient in using payroll software such as Workday or similar systems
- Strong understanding of human resources processes related to payroll
- Familiarity with financial concepts and general ledger accounting
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus
- Ability to calculate debits, credits, and other payroll-related calculations accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills to address employee inquiries effectively
