Floral/produce Merchandiser Team Lead

We are looking for a friendly, self-motivated, independent worker to lead a team of merchandisers for floral/produce products at local Target stores.

**Job Summary**:
This position is responsible for maintaining company standards across all stores in their designated area of responsibility.
- Ensure that all store visits are completed each week
- Verify that work being done in stores meets Target and Freshsource standards
- Build and maintain relationships with store leadership
- Cover open routes
- Help prep stores for high level store walks
- Communicate with your assigned Director about the status of you area of responsibility
- Make recommendations about needed staffing or route changes
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Hands on training of new employees
- Although travel is not required, the job is merchandising in several different store locations.

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of retail merchandising best practices
- Creativity, and a knowledge of how to best present products

**Education and Experience**:

- Some management experience with merchandising, retail sales, or floral work preferred
- Valid Driver’s License required

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Must be able to use/willing to learn to use a pallet jack and flat cart
- Must have the ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, and reach to complete assigned tasks

- Floral/Plant: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1+ year ( Preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
- Auto insurance (required)
- Reliable Transportation (required)

**Benefits**:

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 30 per week
