We are currently seeking a Family Services Specialist. The Family Services Specialist will provide comprehensive case management to formerly incarcerated Women and their families. Supporting re-entry and transition processes, the Family Services Specialist Provide support participants in assimilating into the workforce and developing professional behaviors conducive to personal and professional growth.

**Salary range**: $28-$31 per hour

**Requirements**:
**Essential Duties**
- Perform intake for women affected by the criminal justice system, and provide family strength-based needs assessments, including assessments for daily living needs.
- Recruit and screen participants for the program, develop individualized service plans, and make referrals internally and externally for appropriate services such as mental health counseling, any form of public assistance benefits, housing, substance abuse treatment, vocational counseling, family counseling, and any other needs requested by the participant.
- Develop an individual action plan with participants to address their immediate concerns, such as mental health follow-up, housing benefits, family, future goals
- Provide and refer participants to employment/educational resources as requested to internal and external resources in the community.
- Facilitate workshops addressing work readiness, professionalism, desired goals, and cognitive behavior.
- Prepare and submit all required reports, participant progress notes, and data in a timely fashion utilizing the Electronic Case Management (ECM) system
- Conduct outreach efforts to recruit and educate the community about the services offered as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology or related field and/or three years of progressive work experience supporting a social service organization
- Experience providing case management, counseling and group facilitation

**Key Competencies**:

- Knowledge of the criminal justice system
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, pay strong attention to detail, and time management skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Proficient in database management, Microsoft Office and Google Suites
- Excellent assessment, treatment planning and problem-resolution skills
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to analyze and integrate information independently
- Ability to travel locally
- Bilingual (in English/Spanish) is a plus
