From traditional services to Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Cybersecurity, and cloud based services, our mission is to provide NJ based clients with the best services and solutions with cost effective engineered solutions.
Currently seeking a Senior IT support Technician for a full-time with 6+ years’ experience in IT support. You would be responsible for supporting our clients with their IT needs.
**Overall Position Description**:
- Prior IT consulting and help desk experience
- Available to work full-time and must have SS#
- Ability to setup/ troubleshoot connectivity, firewalls, networks.
- Provide technical assistance and support for clients and be able to trouble shoot and resolve problems quickly and efficiently
- Walk end users through problems and follow up to ensure that the problem has been resolved
- You must be eager to Learn, well organized, great communication skills with clients and outstanding attitude when dealing with and supporting clients under difficult help desk situations.
- A car for reliable transportation to be able to get to client sites as needed on a daily basis.
- Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills with strong teamwork ability
**Technical Requirements**:
- MS Active Directory operation and troubleshooting
- Active Directory (creating users, resetting passwords, adding or removing pc's from the domain/network)
- MS windows desktop and server O/S
- routing, switching, Network security knowledge (firewalls, content filters)
- Networking hardware, cabling, testing, upgrading and troubleshooting. DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Routing
- Network printers, computer hardware
- Experience with Virtualization such as VMWare, Hyper-V is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to seize initiative and take responsibility
- Reliable, on time, and able to complete tasks on their own
- Able to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language with proficiency
- Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact with personnel at all levels
- Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects; ability to work with little direction
Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
