Plumbing Assistant

Santor Plumbing is looking for a hardworking plumber helper to assist our staff with basic plumbing installations and repairs. In this role you will be supporting our qualified plumbers with their daily tasks. You may also be required perform basic plumbing services such as replacing toilet wax rings, drain cleaning, digging, cleaning job site, cleaning tools, installing faucets.

To ensure success as a plumber helper, you should have excellent physical fitness, and a strong desire to learn.

Ultimately, a top-class plumber helper reduces time to finish a job by handling smaller tasks and assisting with major repairs.

1 year of construction, using power tools or similar experience.

The ultimate goal of a helper is to learn the trade so that one day they will be running their own truck. This is not for the lazy. This is a hard job. We will say it again. This is a hard job.

Must have valid CDL. No DUI

A clean appearance is important.

Must pass background and drug test.

Plumber Helper Responsibilities:

- Packing and sorting plumbing equipment for each job.
- Locating pipe leaks and preparing the work area.
- Sorting tools and cleaning work space
- Cutting open walls and structures to expose pipes.
- Installing garbage disposals and faucets
- Keeping truck stock
- Assisting the Master Plumber with plumbing installations and repairs.
- Drain cleaning and lifting water heaters
- Measuring, cutting, and threading pipes.
- Digging and Jackhammering

We will say it one last time. This is a hard job. Entry level. Pay mirrors that. But learning a trade that you can eventually make LOTS of money in is PRICELESS.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
