**Synergy surgery center of San Diego, LLC **is seeking a motivated Sterile Processing Technician -Ful TIme -to join our team.

**_ Synergy Surgery Center is a brand new outpatient surgery center in the Mission Valley area that specializes in Orthopedics. The entire center is new construction with all new equipment and more than 20 different orthopedic surgeons. The Center features 5 ORs and with spacious areas for both pre-op and PACU. The PACU will have 3 suites for 23 hour stay if needed. We look forward to building our brand new team of nurses, techs and business office personnel_**

The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

**Qualifications**:

- High School diploma or GED required
- Computer skills, required
- CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
- Six months of experience, preferred
- 2-3 years experience as Instrument Room Technician.
- Experience with all types of sterilizers.
- Knows operating room instrumentation.
- Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.
- Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.
- Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
- Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
- Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an employee’s qualifications and experience.
