**JOB PURPOSE**:
A. To efficiently manage overall daily administrative and operational functions of your Club location with the primary concern for programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, the overall safety of members and staff, community relations, and membership administration.

B. To provide an environment that contributes to positive member outcomes in Character & Leadership Development, Healthy Lifestyles, and Academic Success.

C. To model the core values of honesty, respect, and responsibility.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Design an age-appropriate educational curriculum, including academic support and tutoring.
- Able to understand and assist members in basic educational disciplines
- Implement educational programs; ensure staff is well informed of curriculum
- Help members set academic goals for themselves while working with YDP or families to create academic plans.
- Implement, organize, and compile all records, reports, and paperwork associated with grants related to the specific programs at site national, state, and local levels.
- Review materials after members complete and assist with areas of difficulty educationally through resources. (tutoring assistance)
- Collaborate with area schools and parents for assisting with educational needs and resources for members.
- Track all programs and activities using the Boys & Girls Club?s database and other tools; evaluate programs with youth using surveys and qualitative feedback; provide grant reports as required
- Collect Grade Cards of members
- Assist and ensure **Indiana Kids** intakes are completed by parents before submission.
- Complete entries of all information into the Indiana Kids portal and program requirements.
- Ensure requirements of testing are completed. (timed)
- Ensure a thorough check is completed of all educational paperwork related to grants and are error-free and meets local, state, and federal grant guidelines.
- Create and complete shared tracking documents for usage with all required staff.
- Collect Grade Cards of members
- Assist with ensuring Indiana Kids intakes are completed by parents before submission.
- Complete entries of all information into the IK portal.
- Assist with testing
- Ensure requirements of testing are completed. (timed)
- Complete a thorough check of forms being submitted to Indiana Kids for correction of any errors or missing information.
- Ensure all Indiana Kids paperwork, (intake, testing, member's academic work, tracking sheets) prior to submission.
- Maintain Indiana Kids members? files are completed and meet the standards of BGC Indiana Alliance for unexpected audits

**_Member Safety - includes but is not limited to the following requirements: _**
- Ensure attendance is maintained and turned in daily that is complete, accurate, and on time.
- Ensure equipment is in good condition and members are instructed in the proper and safe use of equipment.
- Ensure that members and staff know what to do in case of an emergency (fire, severe weather, violence, contamination, etc.).
- Ensure members are properly supervised when being transported or when walking from one place to another.
- Ensure that all potentially harmful objects, chemicals cleansers, and substances are secured away from members at all times.
- Ensure that all incidents and accidents are reported and documented as soon as they occur and that the proper paperwork is completed and submitted to you in a timely manner.
- Communicate in a timely way all concerns regarding the safety and welfare of members. 8. Contribute to ensuring that safety equipment and supplies are maintained and readily available.

**_Staff Supervision and Management: _**
- Supervise and hold accountable staff personnel to ensure that they are performing their job responsibilities according to their job description, BGCFW Policies and Procedures, and State and Federal regulations.
- Ensure staff understand and are capable of performing their job responsibilities.
- Help staff develop and improve their skills and knowledge of their job and hold them accountable for reasonable improvements over time.
- Conduct a Performance Review for each employee under your supervision during the month in which it is due and develop an Individual Development Plan with that employee as a part of the Review.
- Perform immediate redirection/correction/coaching of staff when needed to correct or improve staff performance. Assure that proper, timely, accurate, and correct documentation of any disciplinary actions is completed on time.
- Ensure staff complete initial on-the-job training and periodic refresher training and evaluations as required.
- Ensure employees clock in and out in real-time according to Club policy.
