Account Manager

Under the supervision of the Commercial Lines Manager and Producers. The Select Account Manager functions in a support capacity to the Producers and in a sales capacity by rounding out existing accounts and cross-selling business.
**Essential Duties and Functions**
- Oversee assigned book of business in accordance with Brown & Brown policies and procedures
- Renewal Processing - Print Expiration Lists - Update & Print Renewal Applications - Coordinate process - Request updated underwriting information - Market/Submit for quotes - Prepare/Mock up proposal - Initiate Renewal PTB (bind, binders, invoice and bind letter)
- Round out existing accounts to include all lines of coverage
- Cross sell to other departments (Personal Lines and Employee Benefits)
- Process all change requests/endorsements
- Mail -Process all Select Department mail
- Handles routine incoming calls; answers questions regarding client coverage and limits.
- Client / Company Requests (receive - coordinate - process)
- Producer request for assistance (coordinate process)
- Handle all accounting requests
- Claims (receive - coordinate - process)
- Check and deliver all policies to insured within 30 days of receipt
- Final Audits (receive - coordinate - process)
- Issue Certificates of Insurance
- Order MVR’s
- Follow-up with Producer to ensure Insurance Coverage Review Checklist is completed timely.
- Informs Producer of unusual activity on accounts.
- Cold call on new prospect accounts associated with department leads and marketing mailers
- Any other job related duties as may be assigned.

**Qualifications**:
- High School Diploma
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Active P&C License Preferred
- Software: Image Right is a plus
- 1 - 3 years experience in a similar position
