Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Records Clerk. As a Medical Records Clerk, you will be crucial in maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for our healthcare facility. This important position requires knowledge of medical terminology and experience working in a medical office setting. This position is temporary and will last 2 to 3 months.

**Responsibilities**:

- Organize and maintain patient medical records in accordance with established procedures
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all medical records
- Retrieve and file medical records as needed
- Process requests for release of medical information in compliance with privacy regulations
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all patient information
- Assist healthcare providers in locating and accessing patient records
- Input data into electronic health record systems

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with medical records in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, NextGen expereince a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
