**FUNCTION AND SCOPE**
**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:
Specific duties to be performed may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage the review and approval of OMH NYC Field Office direct contracts. Tasks include assisting provider on submitting contract documents and budgets, reviewing documents and budgets to ensure that they meet program and spending guidance, and following up with providers to ensure timely contract processing.
- Work with OMH Central Office and provide assistances to providers, county, and other Field Office staff regarding fiscal/contract related initiatives and concerns.
- Review one-time/emergency property-related requests, leases for licensed residential programs, and property cost worksheets.
- Review Requests for Proposals.
- Work with NYC DOHMH on State Aid Letter and County Allocation Tracker issues.
- Review and comment on budget section of Prior Approval Reviews for OMH licensed programs.
- Review provider requests in OMH Mental Health Provider Database.
- Participate in special projects and meetings as required.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college with three (3) years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in working with the budget estimation, justification, grant, or financial administration of a public or private entity.
- A master's degree may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in government budgeting, fiscal analyst, and budgetary oversight.
