Responsibilities:
1. Greeting Patients: Welcoming patients as they arrive, checking them in, and ensuring they feel comfortable and attended to.

2. Scheduling: Managing patient appointments, including scheduling initial consultations, follow-up visits, and treatment sessions.

3. Handling Phone Calls: Answering phone calls, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments over the phone, and taking messages for the chiropractor.

4. Maintaining Records: Keeping accurate records of patient information, including personal details, medical history, insurance information, and treatment plans.

5. Billing and Payments: Process payments, verify insurance coverage, and handle billing inquiries from patients or insurance companies.

7. Office Organization: Keeping the reception area and administrative workspace tidy and organized, restocking supplies, and ensuring a professional atmosphere.

Skills and Characteristics:
1. Excellent Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with patients, colleagues, and external parties.

2. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage appointments, paperwork, and office logistics efficiently.

3. Attention to Detail: Being meticulous in maintaining accurate records and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed precisely.

4. Customer Service: A friendly and welcoming demeanor to provide excellent customer service to patients and create a positive experience for them.

5. Multitasking: The ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting patients, while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.

6. Tech Savvy: Comfortable using computer software to schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle billing and payments.

7. Empathy: Showing empathy and understanding towards patients' needs and concerns, especially during times of discomfort or pain.

8. Confidentiality: Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding patient information and adhering to HIPAA regulations.

An effective administrative assistant in a chiropractic office plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the administrative aspects of the practice run smoothly, allowing the chiropractor to focus on providing quality care to patients.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Schedule:
