**What are we looking for?**
Our team is seeking personable and motivated _**Top Talent**_ to support the company’s fabrication team as a Fabrication Coordinator located in our Santa Fe Springs, California facility. The Fabrication Coordinator aids in organizing various aspects of the fabrication process. The role will collaborate with stakeholders throughout the business communicating information, giving advice, and offering recommendations regarding fabrication processes. The Fabrication Coordinator is responsible for managing, updating, and delivering a production schedule, which meets the requirements of our customers and optimizes the fabrication department’s efficiency.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist with on-time shipments to customer by utilizing production schedule. Organize and update the work order schedule to maximize production efficiency, as well as meet customer delivery requirements.
- Manage product additions to the current schedule, as required either for reject material (manufacturing) or urgent customer orders.
- Update work order parts list when additional material is required due to issues within production.
- Responsible for active development and coordination of production schedules daily to meet departments objectives.
- Maintain the structure and order of the production schedule once it has been prepared and submitted to the appropriate station(s).
- Forecast, expedite, and coordinate immediate changes to manage lead times within multiple systems and demands.
- Attend and participate in production meetings, quality meetings, and continuous improvement meetings.
- Collaborate and communicate with Customer Service Team to ensure that both departments are providing a positive customer experience in line with standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with Customer Service/Internal Sales Support to create files for new parts including the ability to “nest” parts effectively to allow BOM set up for new SKUs within JD Edwards.
- Maintain, organize, and update CAD files for production cutting.
- Create new manufactured parts within JD Edwards verifying that Routings and BOM are accurate.
- Review and maintain manufactured parts within JD Edwards to ensure that all SKUs, Routings, and BOMs are accurate.
- Liaise with Customer Service/Internal Sales support regarding material requirements, lead-times, sample production, and other questions that may arise from the customer or sales team regarding production.
- Collaborate with Production Foreman to effectively manage inventory within the production shop ensuring that inventory is moved quickly out of receiving and inventory counts are accurate.
- Provide final review of completed work orders within JD Edwards ensuring that routings, timings, and material consumption is accurate.
- Review and update Integrity Reports to ensure that company and department standards are being met.
- Aid in the creating and monitoring reports to measure key performance indicators within the department.

**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related field (preferred).
- 3-5+ years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing, with 1-2 years in a coordinator or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, including welding, machining, cutting, and assembly.
