Manager, Advanced Advertising Planning Solutions

Role Overview & Responsibilities
Paramount Global’s Vantage is the leading advanced advertising platform in the industry, bringing audience-based solutions to clients with activations that span our massive linear, digital, and addressable TV portfolio.

Sitting within the Advanced Advertising organization, the Planning Solutions team is responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of all cross-platform media plans optimized via Vantage.

In this role, you will work with software engineers and data scientists as well as pricing, inventory, operations, technology, and sales to create and implement optimized cross-platform media plans that deliver on client goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage a team of 3 Analysts, providing day-to-day support and guidance
- Oversee all campaign and performance management processes across two major Hold Cos
- Use groundbreaking optimization platforms to build media plans for advanced audiences that deliver on client goals
- Provide detailed data points and analysis of optimized media plans to sales used to inform proposal recommendation and to evangelize the Vantage product in the marketplace
- Monitor and track cross-platform delivery
- Assist in revenue and inventory forecasting
- Partner with Advanced Advertising Product, Engineering and Data Science teams to build and streamline operational workflows, including testing and deploying new optimization capabilities and executing against new currencies

Basic Qualifications
- 5-7 years working in media buying, planning, operations or media analytics-focused role
- Ability to analyze data, develop insights and clearly communicate the impact of varying data points
- Deep understanding of advertising and agency ecosystems in television and/or digital
- Advanced in Excel
- Proven track record of training and developing emerging talent
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience manipulating and analyzing large datasets
- Experience working with Salesforce, FreeWheel, Operative One, Wide Orbit and/or similar systems
- Fluency in the Advanced Advertising ecosystem

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $93,000.00 - 110,700.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
