The Collins Aerospace Avionics Operations team has an immediate need for a site leader for our Moorestown, NJ manufacturing facility. The Moorestown site is the center of excellence for glass coating in support of the Avionics Displays portfolio outfitting Commercial, Military and Business & Regional aircraft. Collins Aerospace is the leading provider of cockpit displays for the Aerospace & Defense industry and the Moorestown site is an integral part of the continued growth. This position has responsibility for the environment, health & safety, quality, delivery, engineering, facilities, and logistics for the site, along with meeting our long-term financial commitments and strategy execution in support of the entire Displays portfolio. The leader will interface with internal Avionics customers, along with external customers within Aerospace & Defense to ensure our customer needs are met.

**What You Will Do**:

- Manage the operations to ensure all quality standards are being met, and quality performance is improved.
- Support the improvement of the safety culture within the facility.
- Assist with scheduling across the manufacturing process areas to ensure customer deliveries are met on-time.
- Partner with internal and external customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of services.
- Closely monitor operational performance to maximize operator & machine productivity
- Own the financial success of the business through focused cost reduction and process improvement projects aimed at improving the overall efficiency of the business.
- Address employee issues/concerns and motivate the workforce to achieve department goals.
- Oversight for facility management & maintenance efforts
- Includes activities that cannot be attributed to a defined Operations discipline.

**Qualifications You Must Have**:

- Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience **or** **an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience **or** **in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:
**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience within Operations / Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and/or Engineering
- Prior supervisor experience - formal leadership
- Strong project management skills
- Experience managing through integrations & acquisitions
- Financial acumen is a plus
