I. JOB FUNCTION
Responsible for ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience by receiving exceptional customer service and product information.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
At XL Production Flooring our sales associates are the face of the company and greeting every customer with a smile and friendly face is very important.

Whenever when sales associates are not busy with a customer they are expected to assist with merchandising, stocking, cleaning, and tagging tile samples to ensure we have high standards for our customers shopping experience.

The functions listed describe the business purpose of this job. Additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified, according to business necessity.
- At least five (5) years of customer service experience.
- Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
- Must be able to work a retail schedule.
- Assist customers with product questions and selections.
- Stock and tag merchandise displays as required.
- Create and update product price tags.
- Deal with Supplier’s reps when they visit, bring new products, and update price lists.
- Create Sales Orders and Quotes using QuickBooks.
- Able to read drawing and architectural plans.
- Knowledge of Bluebeam is a plus.

III. MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

At least five (5) years of sales /customer service experience, with one (1) year of experience in the flooring industry or related, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

IX. WORKING CONDITIONS

This job requires some physical and mental demands including:

- Able to read, write and speak English.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure.
- Maintaining composure in dealing with customers, authorities, executives, clients, and staff, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
- Required ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Frequent, walking, squatting, and bending.
- Handling and being exposed to cash, credit cards and checks.
- Regular talking and hearing.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
