As a Barclays Quality Control Reviewer Assistant Vice President (AVP), you will be conducting Quality Control (QC) reviews of the Americas Investigations Team’s casework across the New York Branch, the Investment Bank, and the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), including cases for closure and cases approved for SAR filing by the SAR Review Committee. You will also be drafting and compiling monthly QC management information, reports, and assessing the training and performance needs of investigators based on management information and reports.

**What will you be doing?**
- Completing monthly QC reviews and making recommendations on investigator and team development needs
- Conducting root cause analysis of common error, and identifying and implementing policy and procedure improvements based on said analysis
- Drafting and disseminating monthly QC management information and reporting to relevant FinCrime stakeholders and preparing materials for relevant governance forums
- Helping asses the adequacy and the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures against existing Financial Crime standards and emerging AML risks and trends
- Leading and managing QC alert/case queries in order to meet timescales for alert investigation processing and subsequent SAR filing
- Documenting supporting evidence for alert/cause closure or SAR filing QC reviews
- Participating and contributing in team meetings and sharing forums

**What we’re looking for**:

- Four-year college degree or international equivalent
- Four years of AML Compliance and Bank Secrecy Act or other relevant experience
- Experience conducting QC reviews and testing

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- CAMS certification, CFE, JD or other advanced degree or certification
- Experience in Correspondent Banking, Investment Banking, and/or Cards and Payments
- Experience in investigating or reviewing law enforcement (314(a)/GJ Subpoena) related case work
