**SUMMARY**:Opportunity Markeng Group, Inc. (OMG) a professional services consulting firm, is seeking a Labor Compliance Program Assistant. This posion will support various consulting projects within the public works and federal contracting arena. The Labor Compliance Assistant is responsible for providing overall support to the Labor Compliance Managers for Government funded Public Works, Prevailing Wage, Diverse Business Outreach and/or Local Hire Construction Projects in California. The Compliance Assistant will also perform various tasks as assigned by the Labor Compliance Team which includes an abundance of tracking and reporting. While learning the OMG process to successfully running a compliance project, you will work on some of the biggest construction projects in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. - PART TIME 90 DAY PROBATION PERIOD: During the probationary period you will learn the fundamentals of the business, industry and position. You will work directly with a compliance officer on special assignments to be assessed at the end of your 90 days. Upon successful completion a full time position will be offered._

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Provide administrative assistance to labor compliance managers with contractor onboarding and ongoing document submission process.
- Reviews intial start up contractor documentation, tracks, prepares, transmits or assist contractors if needed with document uploads required by awarding agencies.
- Identifies incomplete information, missing compliance documents and contacts contractors to rectify (1st time, Monthly & Final required compliance documents)
- Assists Compliance Managers with answering contractors general document completion questions to ensure timely submittal of all required documents
- Assists in collection of all required compliance paperwork from start to finish of project.
- Creates and manages contractor’s files for the project including digital filing of all documents and maintains digital tracker reflecting all received and missing items.
- Assists Compliance managers in preparing compliance data for auditing by compiling and analyzing internal and external information.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- 3-5 years in administration assistance or coordinator position
- Minimum Associates Degree or Professional labor compliance (or related field) experience equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great organizational skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Above average computer skills. Must be proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, Adobe. Several processes and tasks require database and online system usage.
- Ability to complete tasks with little or no supervision while working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to manage a wide range of activities with changing priorities.

**Additional Skills**++
- 2-3 years’ experience in the labor & prevailing wage compliance industry
- 2-3 years exeprience construction office experience (not labor)
- Knowledge of the payment of prevailing wages and/or understanding of labor compliance policies, procedures, and practices in the construction industry
- Working with building trades union and/or working on a PLA project
- Payroll accounting experience and/or experience working with online certified payroll systems such as LCPtracker, Ecomply, Elations

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
