COMPENSATION: $53,100-$62,900 plus commission

HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week, Full-Time

**Summary**:
As a Sales Account Executive, they are responsible for driving sales growth and fostering client relationships within the events industry and promoting the event and banquet center services. This role requires a strategic approach to sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering unparalleled customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Business Development: _

Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Client Relationship Management: _
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver exceptional service and ensure repeat business.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their event needs offering tailored solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business. Contact prospective and current customers to solicit sales of company products and services.
- Event Consultation_:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and budget constraints, offering tailored solutions and creative ideas to bring their vision to life.
- Proposal Development:_
- Prepare and present comprehensive proposals, including event concepts, budgets, and timelines, that demonstrate the value and uniqueness of our offerings.
- Sales Presentations:_
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our event capabilities and differentiate us from competitors.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of the services to potential clients. Act as on-site manager throughout the work week, and during scheduled events to ensure customer satisfaction and successful event execution.
- Contract Negotiation:_
- Negotiate terms and contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet both parties' needs and expectations.
- Event Coordination:_
- Work closely with the events team, catering staff, and other relevant departments to ensure a seamless execution of events. Collaborate with marketing to create and implement effective sales campaigns and promotional activities.
- Market Research: _
- Stay informed of event and banquet industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth within the events space.
- Sales Reporting:_
- Track sales performance, pipeline activity, and client interactions using CRM software, providing regular updates and insights to management.

**Required Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Five (5) years of experience with a proven track record of success in sales within the events industry.
- CPR and First Aid Certification within 90 days of hire.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for client meetings and events.
- Valid AZ driver's license, provide a 39-month violation-free MVR report.
- Obtain a Tribal operator driving permit at the time of hire.
- A satisfactory result obtained through a test for illegal drugs.
- Acknowledge and agree to maintain a drug-free workplace.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Event Planning, Marketing, or related field.
- Strong understanding of event planning processes, logistics, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and concepts effectively.
- Creative and solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for turning client visions into reality.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge and experience working with Gila River Indian Community or other Native American Community.

**Supervisor Responsibility**:
Oversees the supervision of personnel, which includes hiring, work allocation, training, problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance; provides guidance and feedback for assigned staff.
