As our part-time Office Assistant, you'll dive into a variety of clerical and administrative tasks, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Plus, you'll be the friendly face and helpful voice providing information to our wonderful residents and the general public.

In this role, you'll:

- **Engage with the community**: Be the initial point of contact, delivering outstanding customer service.
- **Promote our programs**: Have a general knowledge of community-based recreation programs and events.
- **Highlight facility rentals**: Spread the word about our fantastic facility rental opportunities.

- A keen eye for detail
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks
- A drive for innovation and continuous improvement

**Required Knowledge and Skills**:

- **Office Proficiency**: Familiarity with modern office procedures, methods, and computer equipment.
- **Organizational Skills**: Understanding of basic filing and record-keeping principles.
- **Language Skills**: Proficiency in English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- **Math Skills**: Basic mathematical abilities.

**Ability to**:

- Learn to prepare various reports and records.
- Understand principles of business writing and basic report preparation.
- Perform general clerical tasks, including maintaining files and compiling report information.
- Follow oral and written instructions.
- Work independently without supervision.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Maintain physical condition suitable for job duties.

**Experience and Training**:

- **Experience**: At least one year of general clerical experience, ideally including customer service.
- **Training**: High school diploma or equivalent.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $28.38 - $38.33 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
