**Duties**:
Plans, organizes work, and manages internal resources to ensure maximum productivity and economies. Prepares financial plan, budgets, inventories, cost control, and related records and reports. Reviews the financial status of the assigned activity and recommends changes considered necessary. Promotes all special programs, facility services and events through onsite promotion, marketing, distribution lists and boarder communications and commercial sponsorship opportunities. Oversees resale opportunities, oversight of installment billing for boarders and point of sale system. Directly manages activity employees. Trains, schedules work, appraises performance, counsels assigned personnel, and recommends personnel actions. Effectively supports the Marine Corps Equal Employment Opportunity policy, and ensures compliance with fire safety, security, and other environmental issues. Manages new property resources and provides advice on renovations and improvements. Maintains and enforces security for funds, merchandise, supplies and equipment to preclude or minimize the potential for fraud waste abuse.

Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.

EVALUATIONS:
**Qualifications**:
Three years of experience in the equine industry. Supervisory experience required. Knowledge of a variety of heavy equipment and machinery to include water truck, tractors, mowers and gators. Knowledge of business/financial and facility management required. Lessons, clinics and trail ride experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to deal with all classes of people. National and state background checks are required for positions that involve working with youths. Flexible schedule with weekend and holiday availability required. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
