**Lead Client Service Representative**
Muddy Creek Animal Hospital located near the Chesapeake River in **West River, MD** is looking for a Lead Client Service Representative (CSR).
Muddy Creek Animal Hospital is a 5-doctor progressive and overall fun place to practice medicine where there is an environment of camaraderie, compassion, competence, and commitment to providing excellent care for our patients and clients. We offer a variety of services along with our high retention and tenured doctor team, you will be set up for success.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to pet owners in a polite and timely manner, both in person and over the phone.
- Train the team on professional, efficient, and unmatched client experience (lead by example), including receptionist duties, client education, preventive care, pet health needs, marketing campaigns, and effectively resolve client issues.
- Identify potential obstacles or opportunities and formulate solutions to remove barriers in operations that would impede the team from delivering excellent care and experience.
- Partner with the Practice Manager, Medical Director, and other leaders to interview, select, train, develop, coach, and mentor.
- Partnering with the Scheduling Manager to effectively create and maintain work schedules to ensure proper coverage to meet client needs and proactively planning PTO and CE scheduling.
- Provide effective communication between the hospital team, clients, and support center teams.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a veterinary hospital or related industry (required).
- Experience with Avimark is a plus.
- Demonstrates knowledge of operations and employee training.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication; ability to influence and articulate a variety of issues to different audiences, tailoring messages accordingly.
- Computer experience and proficiency are required.
- Proficient time management, ability to problem solve, learn, and handle multiple tasks.
- Enthusiastic team player with a patient, and positive professional attitude.
