The EHR (Electronic Health Records) Specialist will support change within the practices SynergenX assisting with achieving corporate goals. The EHR Specialist will provide support to surrounding the EHR System, Quality Assurance, Clinical Services, Billing and Human Resources. The EHR Specialist will work alongside the above departments to help analyze and determine the needs of the Corporation. The EHR Specialist will work with the departments to maximize the functionality of the EHR in support of efficiency and quality improvements, in addition to compiling requested reports and data. The EHR Specialist may be required to prepare and present report findings to Corporate Executives.

**_ PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (others may be assigned):_**
- Write EHR procedural handouts, documents or manuals and provide workflow analyses for the Quality Assurance, Clinical Services, Billing, or HR departments. Acts as coordinator between SynergenX, State agencies, and other provider agencies to implement various business aspects of SynergenX contracts, especially where changes impact use of the EHR.
- Has primary responsibility for managing employee accounts in the EHR system. Performs initial analysis and resolution of EHR problems for end users. Implements and recommends corrective EHR solutions. Performs directed EHR development.
- Searches for solutions to complex technical issues and can communicate with nontechnical staff.
- May perform database administrator functions with the EHR with support from IT Department as needed.
- Has primary responsibility for working with Supervisors to compile and assess data.
- Expected to develop, implement, and maintain EHR templates. May be responsible for reporting confidential information regarding employee performance. Analyzing practice EHR usage, assessing technology processes and recommending practice EHR solutions.

**_ QUALIFICATIONS:_**
- High School Diploma or GED, required; Associate's Degree, preferred and At least 1-2 years EHR experienced, required
- High proficiency in Excel, Excellent attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and consistently meet multiple deadlines.
- Knowledge of Advanced MD a big plus

**Position is onsite in Northwest Houston, NOT REMOTE.
