**Job Summary**:
Bloom Health Centers is an outpatient psychiatry practice, which offers medication management, psychotherapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Spravato (Esketamine), and psychological testing. The Patient Service Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that patients are properly scheduled with the services that they request, support offices by taking overflow call regarding patient requests, and optimizing clinicians scheduled to ensure that patient can access care in a timely fashion. The PSC position interacts with many different aspects of the company, including patient care, billing, and scheduling. A PSC should be well versed in these areas and be able to resolve issues for patients by communicating and collaborating with staff members in the relevant departments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Answer and make calls related to patient and company needs.
- Review schedules and identify available appointment times
- Schedule appointments for all service lines from phone calls and the appointment request form
- Communicate medication refill requests and other patient needs to clinicians through the electronic health record (EHR).
- Review patient balances and take payments
- Update patient demographic information in the EHR.
- Present oneself in a professional manner when speaking to patients, coworkers, and members of the leadership staff.
- Arrive to work on time and remain at work for the duration of the shift.

**Skills and Requirements**
- High school diploma or GED.
- Type at least 35 WPM.
- Available MON-FRI for an 8-hour shift during 8:00am - 5:00pm hours. This position is classified as essential.
- 2+ years of experience or direct customer service experience working in the medical field as a call center agent or administrative support staff.
- Organized, reliable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Able to clearly communicate through speaking, reading and writing in English.
- Basic computer skills: (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
