**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Assist in all aspects of the promotional process (i.e. conception, plan, budget, implementation, create Proforma, and review of post-promotion analysis).

**DUTIES**:

- Ensures that the highest standards of customer service are maintained in accordance with policies and procedures set forth by North Star Mohican Casino Resort.
- Must maintain an acceptable departmental attendance record.
- Must be reliable and prompt when reporting to work.
- Must be clean, well-groomed and dress professionally.
- Assist in analyzing results of all casino promotions and suggest opportunities for improvement.
- Accesses the player tracking system, including Bonusing software, Kiosk management, and other promotion systems to set up and make updates for promotions as necessary.
- Assists with proofing all direct mail and associated collateral for accuracy.
- Coordinates purchasing process to obtain promotional prizes, including but not limited to, electronics, automobiles, gifts, decorations, vehicles, etc. for events and promotions.
- Disseminate information about all casino promotions, including events, to appropriate departments.
- Assist in the smooth operation of promotional and special event activities, including acting as emcee.
- Assist in coordinating paperwork needed for all promotional events including but not limited to winner’s logs and winner’s release forms, cage/vault requests, IT requests, F&B requests, etc.
- Work closely with support departments that are involved with the execution of the events. (Maintenance, IT, Food & Beverage, Slots Department, Table Games Department, etc.)
- Provide excellent guest service and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
- Must adhere to all established rules, regulations, procedures and policies of North Star Mohican Casino Resort and the Marketing Department.
- Must adhere to the Casino’s Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy during employment.
- Must maintain compliance with all workplace policies, procedures, ordinances, laws and other communicated expectations, including but not limited to: Employment Manual, Gaming Ordinance, State Gaming Compact, Tribal Internal Controls, Departmental Procedures, memos or other communication from supervisory or regulatory personnel.

**STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Mohican Nation Gaming License.
- Must submit to a Criminal Investigation Background Check (CIB).
- Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screening and health screening.
- Must be flexible with schedule to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work with a variety of people with diverse personalities.
- Must have a positive attitude and provide a teamwork structure within the department.
- Must be willing to enhance self-development and be willing to adapt to change.
- Must be willing to attend all applicable training.
- Must have demonstrated ability to maintain a satisfactory working record in any prior and/or current employment.
- Must be eligible for insurance under the employer’s liability insurance.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

**EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related field.
- One (1) year experience in marketing/advertising or event promotions, or closely related.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- North Star Mohican Casino Resort is looking for a courteous and friendly individual.
- Must be able to demonstrate exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to maintain a professional attitude always.
- Must have knowledge in inventory and control systems and be very well organized and with good record keeping skills.
- Must be able to meet physical requirements of position.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance are required. Must obtain a Wisconsin driver’s license within 30 days of employment if applicant has an out-of-state driver’s license. Must meet and maintain the eligibility to operate a personal or tribal vehicle under the driver acceptability guidelines as established by Mohican Nation Insurance. be willing to travel and have dependable transportation.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT**:

- Required to frequently stand, walk, talk and hear. Also, frequent use of hands to handle or feel, and reach and grasp. Additional hand movements include, but are not limited to: repetitive motions, grasping, holding and finger dexterity.
- Occasionally will need to stoop, kneel and or crouch. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision and depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus, with the aid of prescription glasses/contacts, if needed.
- Work is general
