**JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY**

The basic function of the Regional Sales Associate of American Signal Corporation is to ensure that the company meets or exceeds the gross revenue goals and gross profit margin goals that have been established by the General Manager and Sales Manager.

**REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS**

The Sales Associate reports directly to and is fully accountable to the Sales Manager.

No positions report directly to the Sales Associate.

**REQUIREMENTS**

Personal skills must include a successful track record that reflects consistent improvement and completion and obtainment of assigned goals.

This position requires knowledge of company policies and procedures, organization, and general business practices.

This person must be able to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize well.

Must be able to interpret sale forecasts & results, as well as monitor gross profit margin results.

Must be an outgoing individual who is comfortable meeting new people and being in unfamiliar situations. The person must be able to invoke enthusiasm and trustworthiness through voice.

Must have the skills and knowledge to keep all lines of communication open within the office, the commercial business sector, and the community at large.

Require basic knowledge of the public safety and the electronic industries.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

The Sales Associate is responsible for ensuring that gross revenues and the gross profit margins of those revenues are consistent with the goals and objectives set forth by the Sales Manager.

Assists in the development of an annual budget and sales programs in coordination with the Sales Manager.

Complies with the policies and procedures of the company.

Creates, maintains, and improves company relationships with customers and major vendors.

Performs research, as directed by the Sales Manager, to investigate other potential products or markets.

Ensures the sales associate maintains adequate records of all accounts and leads.

Plans and executes sales activities which support American Signal’s established sales objectives and develops new opportunities for additional growth, within budgetary limits.

Completes all sales reports accurately and on a timely basis.

**DUTIES AND TASKS**

The principle duties of this position shall consist of, but not limited to, the following:
Attains sales quotas that have been established by the Sales Manager during the budgetary process and strategic planning meetings.

Update and maintain CRM for leads, opportunities, and other data as assigned.

Stays aware of new products and makes recommendations to the Sales Manager for potential opportunities to enter new markets.

Seeks sources of potential new customers and prepares and makes sales presentations to expand the loyal customer base and grow the business.

Ensures that all proposals and orders are processed in a timely manner and in compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Ensures that the relationships the company has with existing and potential new accounts are maintained by anticipating the customer’s needs, resolving concerns and complaints, and by providing appropriate technical support.

Ensures that personal training and skills are developed ongoing to satisfy the sales goals of American Signal.

Maintains good working relationships among all member of American Signal Corporation.

Meets or exceeds monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and gross profit margins goals, by territory.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
