**JOB SUMMARY**:
**LOCATION**:Swift + Company - Rental Warehouse 1919 Edwards Houston, Texas 77007

**REPORTS TO**:Director of Operationsand Dispatch

**The Rental Delivery Driver + Crew are responsible for but not limited to the following**:
+ Delivering and picking up of catering rentals and equipment to and from
clients/customers event sites in a timely and safe manner
+ Coordinating workload to meet client/customer requirements while achieving
optimum productivity
+ Communicating effectively with the Warehouse Manager, the Operations Manager, dispatch, the sales team, and the warehouse staff, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that the sales and clients/customers objectives are met
+ Following systems and procedures outlined in the Swift + Company manual
+ Coordinating with dispatch and Warehouse Manager to schedule daily deliveries and pick ups
+ Ensuring delivery and pick up is always on time
+ Drive vehicle to and from destinations, adhering to all traffic laws
+ Loading and unloading delivery rentals
+ Comply with all OSHA safety requirements
+ Maintain vehicle in good working condition
+ Maintain vehicle in clean and fueled readiness condition including pre and post trip inspection

*SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
*

+ Driving experience required
+ Must have a clean driving record
+ Must have excellent attendance and punctuality
+ Ability and willingness to work overtime, holidays and weekends
+ Must display excellent customer service skills and great attitude
+ Must have good communication skills
+ Must be highly motivated with ability to work independently
+ Ability to multi-task
+ Problem solving
+ Must be a team player
+ Knowledge of rental products and equipment safety standards
+ Basic handy man / construction skills
+ Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) preferred
+ Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and possess a strong work ethic

*WORK CONDITIONS:
*

+ Variable work environment, work is conducted indoors and outdoors with varying conditions
+ Exposure to the environments of clients/customers homes and venues
+ Noise level is usually moderate to loud
+ Frequent lifting of objects up to 100 + lbs.
