**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests for accuracy and completeness.
- Enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring proper general ledger account classification.
- Validate billing accuracy by matching invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Process payments to vendors and subcontractors via check, ACH, or wire transfer.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor and subcontractor records, including W-9 forms, COI, and payment terms.
- Communicate with vendors and subcontractors regarding compliance documents, invoice discrepancies, payment status, and inquiries.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze accounts payable aging reports and assist with cash flow forecasting.
- Collaborate with procurement and project management teams to ensure timely invoice processing and adherence to project budgets.
- Process construction draw requests.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of the construction industry.
- Experience with Compliance Documents, Preliminary Notices, and Lien Releases.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in private or public accounting.
- Familiarity with real estate-related contract management and/or job costing.
- Strong preference for experience with Sage, TimberScan, or ProCore.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving ability and self-motivation.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
