**Your Specific Responsibilities**:
The applicant will provide complete comprehensive care to Refugee Clients to meet the requirements set forth by the USCIS and Federal Refugee Health Program (RHP). Applicant will complete necessary training to successfully assess clients, client referrals, ordering appropriate lab work, and administering USCIS mandated immunizations. The position may require applicant to work with Refugee Resettlement Agencies (RRA).

Applicant will provide Leadership to the Immunization and Refugee Health Program when Director is unavailable. Applicant will collaborate within the Sarasota Department of Health to provide highest quality of care to clients.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques
- Knowledge of immunizations and basic schedule for children and adults
- Skill in use of computer equipment and software to enter, retrieve, and manipulate data required to perform work functions
- Ability to administer intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermic injections in adults and children
- Ability to interpret rules and guidelines relating to immunizations
- Ability to perform physical assessments and interpret laboratory results
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to prepare reports
- Ability to lift a laptop/tablet computer and work manuals
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Highly organized and skilled with prioritization of tasks

**Qualifications**:
Minimum
- Licensure as a registered nurse in accordance with Florida Statute 464

Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science of Nursing
- Bilingual or multilingual
- Public Health nursing experience
- Refugee Health Services Assessment credentials
