Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to engage with customers, provide exceptional service, and contribute to a positive shopping experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process customer transactions accurately using a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with precision
- Perform product demonstrations to showcase key features
- Provide information on products, promotions, and store policies
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining store inventory levels
- Utilize upselling techniques to increase sales revenue
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling cash transactions
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with customers
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions efficiently
- Ability to conduct product demos to showcase merchandise features
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures to maintain adequate product levels
- Capability for upselling products to enhance customer experience
