**Sound Good? (We think so too). Here is what you would do**:

- Assist the Sr. Director of Development to plan, organize and execute fundraising campaigns and events to meet revenue and participation goals.
- Assist to plan and execute YMCA Association events, including fundraisers, conferences and community outreach programs.
- Help identify and cultivate potential donors, sponsors and partners.
- Maintain donor database and generate regular reports on fundraising activities.
- Acknowledge donor contributions and providing updates on the impact of their support
- Respond to donor inquiries and provide information on the organization's initiatives.
- Create engaging content for various platforms, including newsletters, social media, and the organization's website, ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
- Review and proofread grants and marketing/communication materials for the association.
- Contribute to the development of visual communications assets such as PowerPoint presentations, and other visual media including infographics.
- Curate social media in partnership with the team to support the success of advocacy, fund development, programs, membership and other efforts (ie: reels, stories, etc.)
- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess effectiveness.
- Coordinate logistics, budgets, meeting minutes and timelines for events and committee meetings.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align communication strategies with broader marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with program directors to gather information on the organization's impact and success stories.
- Coordinate with volunteers and other team members to execute tasks related to development and communication initiatives.
- Assists the Sr. Director of Business Administration with invoicing and communication for event sponsorships and donations
- Availability to work occasional nights and weekends for meetings and events.
- Attends and takes meeting minutes for monthly committee meetings.
- Performs other job-related duties as requested and necessary.

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred.
- Preferred experience in fundraising, donor relations and event coordination.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Widespread familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in donor management software and Microsoft Office - experience in Daxko is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organization and project management skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with donors.
- Passion and commitment to the YMCA's character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

- All required online training must be completed within 30 days of hire.
