**Hotel General Manager**

Nestled in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona, our Holiday Inn Express & Suites boasts 128 modern and comfortable rooms, providing guests with a welcoming stay and exceptional service. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced **General Manager** to lead our team and ensure the continued success of our hotel.

**Role overview**: As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our hotel. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can inspire and motivate our team to deliver outstanding guest experiences while driving revenue and maintaining brand standards.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining high-quality standards and resolving any guest issues or concerns.
- Lead and manage all aspects of the hotel's operations, including front desk, breakfast, housekeeping & maintenance departments.
- Recruit, train, and develop a skilled team of employees, fostering a positive work environment and culture.
- Monitor expenses to achieve budgetary goals and maintain profitability.
- Oversee compliance with brand standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with our corporate office and participate in strategic planning initiatives.
- Analyze guest satisfaction feedback and financial reports to initiate corrective action.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests, vendors, and partners.
- Maximize revenue potential in collaboration with the revenue manager and sales team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Perform accounting functions and develop annual hotel budget.
- Conduct daily property inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
- Review and submit payrolls twice per month.
- Manage human resources activities, including wage/benefit administration and performance reviews.
- Actively promote the hotel and the company in the community.
- Ensure uniform and professional appearance.
- Follow hotel procedures for lost and found articles.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve service requests.

**Qualifications**:

- Required: _
- 3+ years' hotel manager experience in roles such as Assistant General Manager or Rooms Manager.
- IHG Brand experience.
- Opera knowledge.
- Valid driver’s license and clean background record.
- Preferred:_
- 2+ years' experience as a General Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proficiency in Spanish.

- Hotel General Manager: 2 years (preferred)
- IHG: 1 year (preferred)
