**BIM / VDC Coordinator**

We are currently looking to fill a full-time **BIM/VDC Coordinator** position in our BIM / VDC Department. You will be implementing BIM technology to assist in the construction coordination process.

**Responsibilities**

As a **BIM / VDC Coordinator** with Cummings Electrical, you will be working in a fast-paced construction environment driving exceptional quality and service for major residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Specific responsibilities will include:

- Review 3D models from consultants and contractors
- Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navis Works Manage
- Model Electrical installation work in **Revit** for coordination and installation purposes
- Maintain effective relationships with design, project, and client teams
- Prepare and revise drawings in Revit with mínimal supervision and make sure all drawings follow company supervision

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge in Autodesk Revit, Navis Works, & AutoCAD
- 1 year of experience in Revit, preferred.
- BIM / VDC experience coordinating with MEP Contractors.
- Background and Knowledge of Electrical Construction.
- Revit modeling of all electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, cable tray, etc.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work in a team environment and able to effectively collaborate
- Maintain project coordination schedules and provide updates to internal teams.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Mainly office but may also include all other work environments as required: sit, stand, talk, hear, use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and telephone.
- Work is generally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
- Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
- A considerable amount of time is spent at a desk using a computer terminal.
- May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
- Can be exposed to hazardous materials, loud noises, and extreme heat/cold temperatures, if visiting job sites or other off-site events.
- Can be exposed to Heavy Equipment, slippery surfaces, uneven footing on the jobsite
- Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light foot traffic).
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
