Description:

Work to be Performed by Discipline:

  • Structural Steel
  • Tekla model, or equal, will be provided by two different steel designers for the project scope. Models provided will be integrated into the Master model file to replace design steel member data and shapes.
  • Metallic Piping (Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Galvanized):
  • Isometric (or approved equal) dimensional drawings to be generated from the model for PCL to use as installation drawings. Drawings will be reviewed, submitted, and approved by SECAI.
  • Piping systems will be integrated into the Master model file to replace preliminary design data and shapes.
  • HDPE Piping (Double Containment System):
  • PCL scope of work includes procurement of piping and submittal of shop drawings of all fittings. Fittings may or may not be standard sizes in modeling programs.
  • All piping and fittings will need to be modeled using actual dimensions and sizes of final approved shop drawings. Piping systems will be integrated into the Master model file to replace preliminary design data and shapes.
  • Isometric (or approved equal) dimensional drawings to be generated from the model for PCL to use as installation drawings. Drawings will be reviewed, submitted, and approved by SECAI.
  • PCL will provide guidance on project specific requirements, such as critical fitting locations (Anchor Dogbones) and leak detection points spaced every 100 feet.
  • Pipe Supports
  • PCL scope of work includes procurement of piping supports and submittal of shop drawings. Supports may or may not be standard sizes in modeling programs.
  • All supports will need to be modeled using actual dimensions and sizes of final approved shop drawings. Drawings will be reviewed, submitted, and approved by SECAI.
  • Piping systems will be integrated into the Master model file to replace preliminary design data and shapes.
  • PCL requires support in running clash detection between support, piping, and steel structures.
