Supply Chain Specialist

The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for overseeing supply chain operations and accurately forecasting supply and demand for the company. This role involves performing detailed data analysis and designing a demand plan to create a reliable forecast report, which is essential for determining the optimal quantity of supplies throughout varying market demand cycles. A positive, inclusive attitude, and a high level of professionalism are crucial for success in this position.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for planning inventory flow, analyzing statistical data, and generating forecasting solutions.
- Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
- Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Report to work in-person and start job responsibilities on time for assigned shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Advanced skills in mathematics, statistics, and forecasting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

**Education & Experience**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration in Supply Chain or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations or relevant experience preferred.
