The Colony Group seeks a motivated and qualified individual for the position of **Client Service** **Associate.** The individual selected for this opportunity will be distinguished in academic achievement, dedicated to client service, and have the highest ethical and professional standards of excellence. The Client Service Associate provides a high level and broad range of technical and client management support to a financial counseling team and assists in managing all aspects of a client relationship.

**Primary responsibilities for this position include**:

- Assisting the compliance and the wealth management teams with internal compliance and external requirements necessary for new accounts and assets;
- Preparing and updating financial schedules and analyses, client presentations, and client meeting agendas;
- Assisting with the income tax return preparation process, e.g., scanning data, sending copies of returns to clients, etc. (location specific);
- Interacting with spreadsheet-driven reports for the wealth management team and the company’s clients; and
- Maintaining electronic and physical records and files in an orderly fashion and updating client information into the company’s databases;
- Prepare, generate, and deliver quarterly reports and assist with billing;
- Responsible for the daily cash and position reconciliations of clients’ accounts, and the investigation and resolution of any resulting exception items;
- Answering the phone;
- Managing mail and supplies inventory;
- Ordering coffee and snacks for office;
- Retirement Plan Consulting Quarterly Reports;
- Assist people in the office with DocuSign letters

**Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3+ years administrative experience in financial or professional services, or an Associate's degree with 8+ years of relevant work experience;
- Familiarity with brokerage or registered investment advisory firm operations;
- Strong mathematical aptitude; superb written and verbal communication skills;
- Moderate understanding of investment products and investment operations is desired;
- Solid analytical skills and attention to detail and organization;
- Notable attention to detail, self-initiated follow-through, and outstanding time management and organizational skills; and
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to juggle multiple and competing tasks and demands;
- Experience with Tamarac
