SUMMARY
The Billing Associate will be responsible for billing activities to ensure efficient and economical operation in providing accurate and timely customer invoices. Ensures the calculation of accurate billable charges and prepares final invoices. Conducts an on-going review of bill processing procedures and seeks opportunities to make cost-effective improvements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Essential duties may vary according to region, division, area, and/or assignment. Other duties may be assigned.
2. Adhere to the Company’s Internal Control Policies and Procedures.
3. Process daily invoicing into tracking/reporting system.
4. Billing customer freight charges
5. Process invoices to customers via customer portals.
6. Research and adjust invoice discrepancies.
7. Maintains customer records and responds to general inquiries.
8. Compiles documentation and verifies pricing accuracy.
9. Research and resolve customer billing issues.
10. Performs miscellaneous billing duties as assigned
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an Associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years’ experience in area of responsibility.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet critical guidelines.
- Ability to multitask.
- During month end close, may require extra hours of work.
- Excellent customer service skills and phone manner.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Working knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices
- Reporting of financial data
ADDITIONAL TRAINING
Continuous on-site training as needed
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Associates must contain a valid driver's license
