**Job Description**:
At PayPal, Content Designers work side by side with Designers, Product Owners, Researchers, Marketers, Legal Partners, and others to create user experiences that empower people and businesses around the world.

You’re just as happy brainstorming big-picture strategy as you are crafting compelling headlines and helpful error messages. You’re naturally curious and have a deep need not only to understand products inside-out, but to challenge and question existing experiences to raise the bar. You're driven to define and solve problems, putting customer needs first. You’re excited to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment that requires independent self-direction as well as collaboration and open communication.

**Your Day to Day**
- Collaborate with Design on page layout, interactions, and visual tone.
- Use data-driven insights about experience gaps and customer pain points to brainstorm and build proposed experience solutions.
- Drive the definition of a clear and actionable strategic direction for content in this problem/solution space.
- Coordinate and advise content designers on other teams to share context and clarity you’ve gleaned from customer research.
- Use data and research to evaluate your content’s impact, and push for continuous improvement that shows tangible results.

**What You Need to Bring**
- 4+ years professional writing experience for web or mobile content.
- Excellent, highly creative writing and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience working with content standards, such as style and voice and tone guidelines.
- At ease managing multiple projects, setting stakeholder expectations, working individually, and collaborating across teams.
- Experience in financial services, payments, B2B or B2C e-commerce is preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Design, Information Science or related field preferred.

Actual Compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to work location, and relevant skills and experience.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $64000 to $156750
