**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Office and Facilities Manager will assist the Pastors, carry out administrative duties and supervise support services; exhibit initiative, follow-through and professionalism in job duties; maintain a relationship of trust, support, positive attitude, and confidentiality; be supportive of church staff; be able to handle crisis situations, often independently of the Pastor; exhibit directness, graciousness, and tact; develop a relationship with the congregation based on mutual courtesy, affirmation, and respect; possess a cheerful, helping nature and be committed to serving the congregation and patrons of WGUMC.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Key areas of Responsibility include:

- Administrative support to pastors and church ministry groups
- Facilities management
- Monitoring and purchasing supplies
- Office communications and management
- “Front door ministry” - providing services to those who come to WGUMC in need of food, support or services
- Communicating and liaising with the Trustees on significant matters

**EMPLOYMENT ARRANGEMENTS**:

- The Sr. Pastor and the Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) will review and approve employment selection.
- The Office and Facilities Manager will report to the Sr. Pastor.
- The Personnel Policies detail the financial and other benefits associated with this position.
- At least once each year the Office and Facilities Manager shall meet with the Sr. Pastor for a job evaluation.
