Summer Employment- Sausage Packaging

**DUTIES MAY INCLUDE**:

- Monitor quality of links, cut/retie as needed, rework when applicable.
- Place a specific amount of product neatly into packaging. This may involve counting or weighing.
- Monitor and document metal detector or x-ray equipment when required.
- Place label neatly on package.
- Place packages in box and palletize. May utilize pallet jack to move pallets.
- Print labels when required.
- Notify management immediately of any safety or quality concerns.
- Comply with strict food and worker safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Detail oriented.
- Able to count and read weights on scale.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Reliable and cooperative.

**DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS OF POSITION**:

- On feet entire shift. Regular use of hands and reaching. Some bending. Lifting up to 25 lbs. Refrigerated environment.
- Wear required personal protective equipment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $14.80 per hour
