Travel: Required for external and internal meetings and each coaching engagement. This may be up to 10 days per month with overnight stays.

**OPPORTUNITY**:
The District & CMO Academic Strategy Coach will partner with district and/or CMO leaders to successfully implement their instructional priorities. The Strategy Coach will focus on executing both short-and long-term engagements that build the capacity of system leaders. They will directly coach district and/or CMO leaders, design and lead system-wide professional learning, and meet with system-level leadership teams to support the implementation of key academic initiatives. They will cultivate relationships within each system to support strengthened coherence and alignment between systems and schools. The District & CMO Academic Strategy Coach will report to the Coaching Impact Lead.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Provide excellent system-level coaching support to partners**- Serve as a credible partner in conversations with district and school leadership teams to determine what leaders can do to accelerate impact in schools- Support leaders’ planning and communication of key strategies and initiatives to strengthen instruction system-wide- Support implementation and progress tracking of standards-based, high-quality instructional materials and assessments and provide thought partnership to address implementation challenges such that systems can achieve their instructional vision- Design and deliver professional learning on-site or virtually to system leaders and system teams that builds their capacity and drive toward targeted outcomes- Collaborate internally to ensure alignment, strong service, and responsive problem-solving

**Work alongside ANet’s Sales team to ensure strong client engagement**- Optimize internal cross-functional collaboration by engaging in cross-team meetings to ensure alignment of services for partners- Conduct system reviews that lead to defined scopes of work (e.g. program and pricing) for all partners and directly engage key external decision makers (e.g. Chief Academic Officers, Superintendents, Principal Managers)- Support the overall scope of system-level engagements, including executing on given timelines and deliverables and fulfilling ANet’s business needs relating to data collection and documentation- Ensure strong and engaged relationships with partners (i.e. high net promoter and renewal rates) by setting a vision and executing any next steps articulated in the client engagement strategy

**REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES**:
- 5-7 years of experience coaching leadership through instructional strategy and change management initiatives related to curriculum, instruction, assessments, and professional learning- Ability to build strong relationships that quickly establish trust and credibility- Skilled in leveraging strategic thinking skills to identify opportunities and challenges, articulate root causes, and assess the needs of stakeholders to develop an overall vision of success and make recommendations that will accelerate change- Adult learner presentation and facilitation skills; ability to explain complex problems and solutions in a clear, concise, and engaging way- Learner orientation with an ability to solicit feedback, collaborate, and seek opportunities for continued growth and development

**Preferred **qualifications:

- Knowledge of high-quality instructional materials and assessments and experience in implementing them across a system
