Farm Manager/equine Handler

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise daily care of horses, including feeding, turning out, tacking up, doing stalls, etc.
- Plan and oversee high level landscaping and pasture management
- Maintain farm equipment and facilities, ensuring they are in good working condition
- Monitor and manage equine health and well-being —coordinate with farriers and vets
- Supervise pest control measures and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Develop and implement farm policies and procedures to optimize productivity
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors as needed

Qualifications:

- Experience with power tools and machines, such as mowers, for farm maintenance
- Proficiency in equine care and animal care practices
- Basic math skills for inventory management and budgeting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with farming
- Knowledge of animal handling techniques
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Farm Manager to lead our equine operations. If you have a passion for horses and possess the required qualifications, we invite you to apply.
