We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Regional Director of Care to assist with oversight, leadership, and support for various Assisted Living communities in Virginia. You will be responsible for consulting with the Regional Director of Operations to provide oversight to our facilities in various aspects of the communities such as clinical needs, regulatory compliance, clinical services, and more.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Driving clinical outcomes, implementing, and updating care procedures/policies
- Has awareness and practices in accordance with the regulations of the state
- Provides oversight with regulatory compliance and clinical services
- Observe and identify areas doe clinical improvement
- Assists with training/meetings for appropriate staff
- Assists with Resident care as needed
- Observes new admissions and communicates changes in Resident conditions
- Maintain Service plans
- Maintain current Resident record for each Resident including but not limited to, obtaining current physician orders, clarifying orders, and alert monthly charting
- Keeps Administrator informed of all departmental needs and issues
- Responsible for keeping Resident information confidential; respecting Resident rights; respecting privacy

**Job Qualification**:

- Must have prior experience as a DON in the long-term care environment
- Meet requirements imposed by the licensing authorities
- Must have good organizational and supervisory skills
- Must have an acceptable criminal record check
- Documents TB screening
- Must have or complete CPR/1st aide within the first 60 days of employment
- Must perform tasks with grace; works cooperatively with supervisors and display willingness to assist co-workers
- Must be capable of performing the duties and responsibilities of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
