We need the right experienced Parts Manager to take this fast-growing Chevrolet dealership to its next level of success Our dealership has very little turnover and is well capitalized. **QUALIFICATIONS**:
**This is a hands-on position and the Parts Manager hired will be expected to lead by example**

**Previous Automotive Dealership Parts Manager experience required (3-5 years)**

**PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE PARTS MANAGER EXPERIENCE**
- Must be highly organized, process driven, and excel at properly managing parts inventory.
- Positive team-player attitude, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain excellent customer relations and possess strong listening skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Possess proficient knowledge of DMS and Manufacturer websites.
- Experience with Repair Link, Collision Link, CCC for body shops is a plus

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- **Right Part, Right Place, Right Time**.
- Inventory Health: Maintain high inventory turns and low obsolescence.
- Must be proficient: GM Parts Policy & Procedures, SPRINT, SPAC, PASE, GM RIM
- Keep the store RIM compliant and stay on top of warranty and parts returns
- Inventory control procedures, warranty procedures and all GM manufacturer requirements.
- Forecast parts requirements, Analyze and Project Sales.
- Safety and Regulatory Compliance: department maintains certifications and adheres to procedures that are compliant with company, factory and government policy and regulations.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop systems and flexible stock ordering procedures to optimize parts inventory; maximize gross profits by effective ordering of parts to ensure maximum parts return allowance; and minimize "at counter" time of Technicians.
- Guarantee full compliance with manufacturer parts, warranty policies and procedures.
- Maintain efficient, profitable parts operations and inventory control system.
- Work with Service Manager and Advisors for effective communication and teamwork.
- Nurture and grow existing accounts by providing exceptional service.
- Create a positive experience at the counter for retail, wholesale, and shop customers.
- Develop an effective team through training, mentoring and performance standards.
