General Accountant

Description:
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Be relied upon to resolving basic A/R related issues and to escalate more complex issues timely
- Follow documented A/R best practices, identifying inefficiencies and recommending changes for review by A/R Lead
- Prepares customer invoices and statements, as needed
- Application of customer payments
- Reconciliation of accounts (AR Aging & GL)
- Initiate collection efforts on delinquent customer accounts/invoices
- Assists with A/R and Accounting special projects, as required
- Assist in the Accounting Department scheduled audits
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- Understand and perform functions in accordance with AS9120 and ISO9001 Standards
