Hybrid Lead Instructor

This position is responsible for the instruction of all hybrid courses within the Electrical program as well as maintaining the accuracy, integrity and content value of the hybrid curricula and overall academic health of the Electrical program. In addition, maintaining compliance of hybrid curricula and methodology with all regulations and professional standards.

**Faculty Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a standard full-time instructional load for hybrid courses
- Maintain accurate class and other records
- Submit, when due, all necessary reports: attendance, grade reports, rosters and class schedules
- Follow course syllabi and outlines
- Maintain work hours in addition to instructional time to provide academic, attendance and career advising
- Observe, support and enforce the regulations, policies and programs of the school
- Refer students to appropriate resources
- Participate and attend school functions and activities as needed
- Attend graduations, orientations, open houses, and other formal student activities as needed
- Attend advisory board meetings

**Lead Faculty and Curriculum Development Responsibilities**:

- Serve as product knowledge expert
- Assist with creation, development and enhancement of curriculum materials.
- Provide requested updates and reports on status of curriculum.
- Participate in curriculum reviews
- Develop and implement strategies/plans to maximize student learning
- Conduct product knowledge trainings
- Maintain and post recorded Zoom meetings and/or lectures for hybrid courses
- Assist the Program Coordinators and Campus Directors in hiring, onboarding and coaching new faculty members within program
- Mentor program faculty
- Fill in during Program Coordinator absences as needed
- Onsite classroom and lab coverage for vacation and salary continuance for other faculty within program as needed

**Position Requirements**:

- ** GED/Diploma is required. Associate degree preferred**:

- ** Must hold E1 or E2 electrical license in state of CT**:

- ** Minimum 3 years of work experience as a licensed Electrician in the field**:

- ** Minimum 2 years of experience in post-secondary education serving in the role of faculty, program management, and/or curriculum development required**:

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills
- Strong proficiency with MS Office, internet sourcing, and proprietary software
- Strong written and oral communication and collaborative skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage resources to achieve short-term and long-term project objectives
